PALMA
THE paintings by children of Queen´s Collage Primary Department, will be featured in the exhibition “A Happy Childhood”, at the Carlos Roldós Art Gallery.

The fundraising project, seeks to support the outreach activities of “Red de Ayuda a Niños Abusados” (RANA) whose objective is to prevent child sexual abuse.

RANA is a Palma-based organisation which organises a host of social awareness events throughout the year to help combat child abuse.

WORKS OF ART
The works of art will be sold and all the money will be donated to this Balearic not-for-profit organisation.
A jury, comprised of photographer Pepe Cañabate, artist Jaume Pinya and the journalist Gudi Moragues, will select one painting from each class of children ages 3 to 11 (Nursery to Year 6), to be the winner of an original photograph by Pepe Cañabate valued at 600€.

This event, thanks to support from the parents, staff and children of Queen´s College, gives continuity to the many recent projects that aim to eradicate the abuse of children in our society and gives hope that a better world is possible.

The fundraising event will take place on March 19, in the Galería de Arte Carlos Roldós, c/ Puigdorfila, 4 in Palma between 6-9pm.
