THE shipping line Balearia will launch their new high speed service between Ibiza, Palma and Barcelona on June 1.
This service will operate once a day in each direction. The ship which the company will use for this new service (a fast ferry with capacity for 900 passengers and 200 vehicles) will make the crossing between Barcelona and Palma in three and a half hours, and between Palma and Ibiza in two hours. The company already offer daily services from Barcelona to Palma using the superferry Pau Casals, and to Ibiza and Minorca.
The new high speed service, with Balearia's new fast ferry, will complement these.
