THIS evening's conference on European Consumer Rights to be given by the UK Office of Fair Trading's Director of Consumer Protection Mike Haley has attracted a great deal of interest from British and EU residents living in Majorca.
The 7pm talk at Andratx Town Hall will be followed by a question and answer session and there are still a few remaining seats on the free bus which the Balearic government has organised to shuttle people back and forth to the lecture from Palma.
The conference has been organised by the Balearic government and the Ministry for Consumer Affairs and is the first of a series of talks on cross border European Union Consumer Rights and Protection and what the various consumer bodies here and in the EU can do for consumers.
For further details about the lecture and the free bus service see What's On on the centre pages.
