THE airline Air Madrid yesterday started its flights between Palma and Madrid and on April 4 it is expected to start its scheduled interisland flights between Palma and Minorca and Ibiza. According to company sources, the airline has acquired two Airbus 319 planes for these flights and they are confident that these will be 80 percent full during their first few weeks in operation, going on the sales already made. In addition, from April 4 there will be one daily flight between Palma and Minorca and another between Palma and Ibiza, although the frequency of these could rise depending on the demand for this service.
