THE Balearic Minister for Tourism, Joan Flaquer, yesterday spoke enthusiastically about the good figures for Easter bookings throughout the islands and added that he was confident that this trend would continue during the Summer. Some Majorcan hotels will open this Easter when they don't normally, said Flaquer during a press conference. He said that, according to his figures practically everything is booked. He cited the areas near Palma airport, such as Palmanova, Peguera, the Playa de Palma and Arenal as those that are the easiest to fill, although he said that throughout the islands bookings are up.
