PALMA'S AnticArt antiques fair opened at the Polígono de Levante exhibition centre near the GESA building in Palma yesterday.
This year's event is the 12th edition of the fair and one of the highlights is a selection of original, antique pieces from the San Carlos Castle's Military Museum. The fair, which is open from from 11.30 to 9pm and costs four euros to visit, features over 60 exhibitors from the Balearics and across Spain this year and all of the objects have to be at least 50 years old. Last year's event attracted over 15'000 people and is extremely popular with buyers, dealers and the general public.
A large selection of art by some of Spain's greatest artists is also on show.
