Body of missing Cas Concos man found in Llucmajor

At about 8.30pm yesterday morning, a Guardia Civil helicopter made radio contact with search teams on the ground to say the crew had spotted the body not 200 metres away from Emergency services on the Son Granada estate near the Las Palmeras housing development. A police magistrate was called to verify the death of the victim who had been found 200 metres from his Renault Kangoo van and investigations were begun to establish the cause of death. Initial assessment suggests Artigues died from natural causes as there were no signs of violence. Because of the nature of the terrain where the body had been located, a helicopter was used to transfer it from the countryside. An autopsy will be conducted.
