Joan Collins THE good weather which we have been enjoying during these first days of Spring will not last to Easter. The Meteorological Institute has announced the arrival of two cold fronts coming in from the west and, although they are mild, they could bring with them some mild storms. The first storm will hit the Balearics perhaps between tomorrow and Thursday, then at the weekend there will be a brief respite which will give way to the second storm on Monday April 10. Nevertheless last Sunday, due to the prevailing good weather and the high temperatures, many people decided to spend the day on the beach, something they will not be able to do in the next few days. The cold fronts which will affect the Balearics from tomorrow could cause a drop in temperature of up to four degrees, but this could rise again before the arrival of the second storm. For the moment the forecasters can't say what the weather will be doing on the Thursday and Friday of Easter week, days when the traditional processions through the streets take place. However, traditionally it is said that it is the tears of the brotherhoods which, year after year, form the storms and rain at Easter.
