NEXT year's Fira Del Ram, the annual Spring fair currently being held at the fair ground near Palma cemetery, may have to find a new home.
Palma city council yesterday presented fair organisers with three options, one involves returning to the current site, which by then will be on the newly landscaped greenbelt Parque de la Riera, while the other two involve moving to the area of Son Fuster. Palma city council admits that allowing the fair to return to its present site will be complicated while out at Son Fuster the council is prepared to create a special caravan park, site for the attractions and lay on extra public transport.
