POLICE in Bulgaria reported yesterday that they have arrested three people suspected of murdering a 67-year-old man in Palma.
All the detainees, A.T.K., Y.T.A and M.S.I., aged 28, 21 and 24 respectively, are Bulgarian.
National Police sources in the Balearics confirmed that on 27th March, the accused had allegedly entered the flat of the victim, who lived in Calle Sant Rafel in the suburb of Son Gotleu, tied his hands and feet with tape, and kicked him to death.

The dead man was found after he failed to keep an appointment with a family member and suspicions were roused.
The National Police were informed after the family kept trying to ring the flat in Calle Sant Rafel but received no response.
Entering the property where the victim had lived, investigators noticed that the front door had not been forced even though everything inside the house was in complete disarray.

The arrests have come in the wake of an exhaustive investigation carried out by the Balearic Homicide Squad who finally identified the accused.
A court in Palma issued an international warrant for the arrest for all three of the suspects.
