THE local community turned out in force yesterday to help raise funds for Japan.
The Japanese Community In Majorca hosted a full day of events in the La Misericordia patio in order to raise money to help rebuild those areas of Japan devastated by last month's tsunami and earthquake.

From tastings of traditional Japanese food to an exhibition of bonsais, a Japanese market and demonstrations of various martial arts and music, there was a host of activities and events which everybody enjoyed and gave generously to help the thousands of victims.
