Doctors roll out more strikes after talks fail

DOCTORS on the islands are planning another 29 days of rolling strikes in response to the breakdown of talks with hospital management.
The stoppages will take place between April 22 and June 26. On April 22, 23 and 24, the strike will affect all the hospitals in the Balearics.
On April 25 and 28, the hospitals in Minorca, Ibiza and Formentera will be affected only. Strikes are planned for Ibiza and Formentera on May 6, Majorca on May 7 and Minorca on May 8. Ibiza and Formentera will again be hit by the strike on May 13, 14 and 15, Majorca on May 20, 21 and 22, and Minorca on May 27, 28 and 29. The same order will apply in June, with stoppages in Ibiza and Formentera on June 3, 4 and 4, in Majorca on 10, 11 and 12, and in Minorca on June 17, 18 and 19. The last three scheduled days of the strike, June 24, 25 and 26 will follow the same order of Formentera and Ibiza; Majorca; and Minorca.
