Palma.A 36-year-old Argentine tragically died yesterday morning in a motorcycle accident in Palma.
The accident happened at 10.50am when the victim, for reasons yet to be confirmed, lost control of his scooter and careered into a tree and a lamppost.
A passing ambulance stopped immediately and administered first aid while the Local Police cordoned off the scene and spoke to eye witnesses.
One told the police how the motorcyclist suddenly lost control of the scooter and veered to left into the tree and then the lamppost.
Two more ambulances arrived moments later, one with a team of paramedics on board and they set about trying to reanimate the victim.
Sadly, an hour later the paramedics lost the battle to save his life.
