European department hangs in the balance

The future of Centre Balears Europa, the Balearic government´s European department, is hanging in the balance.
The Balearic government says that it still has not take a decision although it is rumoured that it could be scaled back or even closed to save money.
The Balearic government said this week that they would making a decision shortly over its future role.
However, the Balearic government has said that its office in Brussels would remain remain. Directed by former British Vice Consul Esteban Mas, the office is in regular contact with the European Union.
