Upheaval expected near Calle Blanquerna

WORKS on the first phase of the urban redevelopment around Calle Blanquerna in Palma will begin this Monday (artist's impression pictured). All traffic running through the area will be affected as circulation will be greatly restricted. The City Council has guaranteed access to pedestrians and to traffic which uses the streets running at right angles to Blanquerna. Vehicles will also be able to reach parking zones and the underground car park of Santa Pagesa will offer an hour's free parking each day for everyone for the nine months needed to complete the works. Roads will be closed however, between Calle Pare Francesc Molina and where Calles Joan Massanet Moragues and Francesc Fiol merge.
