THREE KILLED IN CALVIA CAR CRASH

TRAGEDY struck on the Palma to Calvia motorway in the early hours of yesterday morning when two cars were involved in a head-on collision which claimed the lives of all three people in the two vehicles.

The accident happened at 2.35am near Bendinat castle and the three victims were declared dead at the scene.
According to the Guardia Civil, one of the vehicles, a Seat Leon driven by 25-year-old Beatriz Ruiz Ruiz, was travelling in the wrong direction and neither of the drivers had time to react or brake.
