By Mike Samuels THIS weekend, Saturday 22nd May and Sunday 23rd May at 5pm (17.00), Centre Stage Juniors are staging “The Adventures of Zorro” a musical in English at the Auditorium, Paseo Maritimo, Palma.

Written and directed by Robert Bateman and under the musical direction of Conway Jones, the seventy two children of Centre Stage Juniors will share with us the joy and fun of the musical theatre.

Young they may be, but their reputation as a fine choir is known throughout the island. The youngsters have sung as the guest choir for the Queen's birthday celebration, hosted by the British Consul, and sing every year at the ecumenical carol service held each Christmas in Palma Cathedral.

Centre Stage Productions was formed in 1997 to bring the delights of London's West Ends theatres to Majorca and to pass on the skills needed to young people to perform at the very highest levels.

Many have progressed through the ranks of Centre Stage to follow careers on the stage, in films and working in the world of TV, both here and abroad.
Tickets are priced at 12 Euros for adults and 10 Euros for children and are available from Robert on 971 22 15 30.
