STAFF REPORTER NEARLY 4'000 people, largely those in their thirties, crowded into the bullring in Palma on Saturday night to listen to the magic of Irish group, the Cranberries.

The group, with lead singer Dolores O'Riordan, who is still in excellent voice, was in its heyday in the 1990s with its debut disc Everybody Else Is DOing It, So Why Can't We? It made an instant success of the Cranberries, selling more than 8 million copies. The group came onto the stage still wearing the Doc Martins boots that had hallmarked their appearances nearly two decades ago. Starting off with songs “How” and “Animal Instinct”, the Cranberries soon had the audience dancing in the aisles.
