Palma.—Foreign tourists who visited Spain in the first seven months of 2013 spent 32.21 billion euros , 6 percent more than in the same period of 2012, the government said yesterday.
The rise in the average expenditure per tourist was 2 percent – up 949 euros , according to figures from the Industry, Energy and Tourism Ministry.
In July alone, the spending of international tourists climbed to 7.79 billion euros, or 4.3 percent more than in the same month of 2012.
