BRITISH tourist James Richard Clarke, 35, is in hospital in serious condition after falling from a fourth floor balcony in a Magalluf hotel.
The accident occurred at around 8am and he is thought to have lost his balance. He landed feet first from a height of about 12 metres, causing several multiple fractures, emergency service sources said yesterday.
Paramedics treated the tourist on the spot for an hour, but given the seriousness of the injuries, decided to sedate him. He was carried by stretcher to the ambulance.
