By Humphrey Carter LAST Saturday, a dream came true for Scottish bride Lara McLeod who married her English husband Chris Bullock at the church in Porto Colom. Lara, from Edinburgh,has been coming on holiday in Porto Colom, and always Porto Colom, with her family for the best part of 28 years and father Alan said yesterday that she decided very early on that her dream would be to get married in the Majorcan town. “It was a wonderful event. I know she's my daughter but it was the best wedding I've ever seen or been too and her mum Lorraine feels the same.” he said.


Lara arrived at the church, where over 200 guests were waiting, in a traditional horse and carriage. “The whole town, on hearing the bells, turned out and applauded,” added her proud father.

Nearly 150 guests for Lara and Chris's wedding came from the UK although some came from as far a field as Hong Kong and Singapore - and it was well worth it.
