It is a big day for the Bulletin tonight when the newspaper receives the gold medal from the Council of Majorca as part of the celebrations to mark Majorca Day.
The newspaper is celebrating its 50th anniversary and the Bulletin Chairman and founder, Pere A. Serra, will be presented with the award at the Teatro Principal tonight as part of the gala celebrations.
This is the second award that the Bulletin has received as part of its Jubilee birthday year,
In May the British ambassador to Spain, Giles Paxman, presented our chairman with an honorary MBE .
The Bulletin continues to be the only English language daily newspaper in Spain.
Presiding over tonight’s celebrations will be the President of the Council of Majorca, Maria Salom.
Hundreds of people are expected to attend the big event tonight from across the island.
