PALMA
THE Council of Majorca is organising a foreign community fair today as part of this year's Majorca Day celebrations and the Daily Bulletin is inviting its readers to join the party at its stand and meet some of the newspaper's staff, columnists and associates.

Nearly all of the island's different foreign communities are going to be taking part in the day-long event including ESRA, the English Speaking Residents Association, which will also have a stand providing in- formation about what the association does and offering people the chance to join.

It is the first foreign association fair to be held and a wide range of activities, events and performances are going to be taking place including plenty of music and dance from all over the world. There are also going to be live video link ups between some of the South American residents and their families and communities back home and traditional arts, crafts and cultural workshops.

MEET THE BULLETIN
The fair, which is being held in the cloisters of the Misericordia Convent near the General Hospital at the top of the Ramblas, opens at 10am and throughout the morning, between 10am and 2pm, readers will be able to meet and talk to some of the Bulletin's staff, writers and friends. Majorca and London-based author and Bulletin weekly columnist Anna Nicholas is going to be signing copies of her new book, Goats From A Small Island, and Marc Fosh, one of Spain's top British chefs, restaurant owner and Bulletin columnist, will also be on hand to answer any culinary questions. There will also be representatives and junior players from the Mallorca Cricket Club and leading local football correspondent Monro Bryce will also be at the stand to help any would-be Real Mallorca fans. There will also be a few surprises in store at the stand.
