The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Support will take place throughout the world on Friday 27 September 2013 in an effort to raise over £15million for people affected by cancer.
Over the years, people around the world have gone to extreme lengths to make their coffee morning a success.
Hosts have made time for a coffee whilst climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, trekking the Great Wall of China, swimming with sharks and one keen supporter even hosted a nudist coffee morning – all in aid of Macmillan!
Longtime residents of the island, Ian and Margie Scambler have organised a Macmillan’s Biggest Coffee Morning to be held at Foundation Amadipesment (the cafeteria opposite the Palma Nova Medical Centre, in the large municipal car park just off the motorway) on Friday 27 September 2013 from 10.00 - 12.00 midday. The cost of breakfast is a donation of 8.00€.
