FRANCESC Fiol, the Balearic minister of education, said yesterday that despite some delays in building work, 95 per cent of schools will be ready to start the 2006-07 school year from tomorrow (read today).
He said that there were 209 infants and primary schools and 64 secondary schools, in addition to 130 State-assisted schools in the Balearics and many of them have been extensively refurbished.
