Balearics have some of the most beautiful beaches in Spain

Beaches in the Balearics were voted this week as the fourth most beautiful in the country for Spanish citizens.
In a report compiled by a travel website about the travelling habits for Spanish people, only beaches in Cadiz, the Basque Country and Galicia were considered better than the Balearics, who received 10% of the votes and maintained last year’s position.
The pole comprised of the most beautiful beaches as well as the favourite destination for travellers.
Most Spanish said they still prefer to go on holidays to costal areas as opposed to the countryside.
