THE low cost airline Thompsonfly has announced that, during the 2007 tourist season, it will have 12 new routes linking Spain and the United Kingdom.
Tickets for these routes are now on sale with prices as low as 39.99 euros for the flight, including taxes and surcharges.
The new routes will be: Alicante to Nottingham East Midlands; Valencia to Bournemouth; Ibiza to Nottingham East Midlands; Minorca to Manchester; Minorca to Gatwick; Minorca to Nottingham East Midlands; Tenerife to Manchester; Tenerife to Gatwick; Gran Canaria to Manchester; Gran Canaria to Gatwick; Lanzarote to Manchester; and Lanzarote to Gatwick. Thompsonfly said yesterday that the new routes demonstrated the “importance” of Spain as a “key” market for the airline and showed “clearly” the airline's commitment to “satisfying the changing needs of travellers”. Thompsonfly's new services will add to its existing services and tickets are already on sale for next Summer in 20 airports throughout the United Kingdom. The Commercial Director of Thompsonfly said yesterday he was confident that the new routes would be a “great success”.
