PALMA
THE National Organisation for the Blind (ONCE) yesterday presented Mayor of Alcudia Miquel Ferrer i Viver with the plate with which the coupons for Tuesday's draw, dedicated to Alcudia, will be printed.

According to ONCE sources yesterday, the illustration on the coupon will consist of a picture of the North Wall and the council's coat of arms.
Alcudia is the first Balearic town to appear on the coupons in the series which ONCE is dedicating to the Balearics this month.
Seven coupons will be dedicated to seven towns on the islands as part of the series which the organisation dedicates to Spanish towns which have between 10'000 and 250'000 inhabitants.

On Wednesday it will be Felanitx which dominates the coupon, illustrated with a photograph of the popular “Cavallets” (dance group who wear cardboard horses around their waists), while on Thursday it will be the turn of Pollensa, with a photograph of Formentor.

On the following Monday (24th) Sa Pobla will be featured on the coupon with a picture of the Sant Antoni fiesta bonfires. The next day (25th) a panoramic view of Sant Antoni de Portmany in Ibiza and the council's coat of arms will illustrate the coupon.

The coupon for the 26th will be dedicated to Sant Josep de Sa Talaia (Ibiza), which will include a picture of the Town Hall and the council's coat of arms. On the 27th, the last in the series, it will be the turn of Soller, illustrated with the Museo de la Mar.

There will be 50 series of each coupon, numbered from 00000 to 99'999, which is five million coupons carrying the image of these places on the islands to the whole of Spain.
