MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST Rodrigo Rodriguez will this month be performing a repertoire of eastern inspired music for the School of Music and Arts of San Llorenç Cardassar.

The concert and lecture is set to take place on 29th September at 8pm. The Spanish musician is performing using a shakuhachi, a Japanese end-blown flute used by Buddhist monks in meditation rituals, and a steel idiophone called a hang drum.

Early in his career Rodriguez became fascinated with Japanese music and traveled to Japan to study its instruments. He now performs regularly in both the East and West.
