Soller.—Hollywood super-star Tom Hanks went for a cruise around the coast of Soller yesterday with family and friends.
Hanks, who stars in the film, Cloud Atlas, which is being made in Majorca, Germany and Britain took advantage of a break in filming to enjoy the delights of the Soller coastline. The Oscar winning actor is staying in a luxury hotel in the Soller area. So far he had managed to evade local photographers but they were waiting for him as he returned from his cruise aboard a British-flagged motor-yacht.

The replica galleon which is being used in Cloud Atlas and which is based in the port put to sea yesterday for some filming although none of the star cast were aboard.

Halle Berry, who stars alongside Hanks in the movie, is believed to have travelled yesterday to Glasgow where filming on Cloud Atlas will be taking place this weekend.
