Foreign investment booming

Foreign investment in Spain during the first quarter of this year almost double compared to last year, said the economy department of the governement this week.
Overall 11,350 million euros were invested so far, some 6,629 million more than in 2012.
The Balearics, Madrid and Barcelona were the main targets for investors, who choose the financial sector, insurance, the manufactoring sector and construction as their main business ventures.
Business associates from Britain, France, The Netherlands, Luxembourg and the U.S represented 60% of the investors.
