“It’s better to have tourists than none at all, even if they have spent less this year...”

Palma.—Eugenia Frau, Calvia Councillor for Tourism and Urban Development, told the Bulletin this week that this summer has been a very good one for the municipality but admitted that not everyone is ending the season on a positive note.

"Hotel occupancy has been very high this year, but while we have had more people in the resorts, they have spent less so the commercial sector is not as happy as the hoteliers," Frau admitted.
