By Staff Reporter AN autopsy today is expected to reveal the cause of death of Irish pop star, Stephen Gately, 33, who was found dead at his Andratx holiday home over the weekend.

Government delegate Ramon Socias said yesterday that foul play was not suspected in the death of the former lead singer of the hugely successful Irish boy band Boyzone.

The four remaining members of Boyzone, (Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch) arrived on the island on Sunday night. Family members were due to arrive yesterday.

Gately´s body was discovered by his partner Andrew Cowles. The couple had been enjoying a break at the apartment they owned in Cala Llamp near Andratx. Reports suggested that they had been out in Palma drinking and returned home in the early hours of Saturday morning. Claims in the Irish and British media that the pop star had been on an eight-hour drinking binge, have been rejected by both his family and his solicitor. His family have underlined the fact that it was a “tragic accident.”
