Flight delays drag Palma airport down

Palma airport made the top 20 list of  the least efficient airports last month in terms of time keeping, according to a report published yesterday.

Palma.— The report presented by the European airport security agency Eurocontrol ranked  Son Sant Joan airport as number 19 in terms of  flight delays, in a list comprising of  the majority of Europe’s main  airports.
Overall, passengers flying from Palma experienced a total of 393 minutes in  delays  during  September.
Much  worse than Palma were Barcelona’s  El Prat airport, Nicosia (Cyprus) and London Heathrow.
