Palma.—The ex-crew of the former royal Yacht Fortuna were yesterday awarded 1.2 million euros in compensation by the Balearic High Court for the way in which they lost their jobs when the King of Spain decided to give up the royal yacht as part of a cost cutting plan. The individual payments range from 54,000 euros to 185,000 euros and the court now has to decide who is liable for the compensation.
