With the weather warnings lifted across the region at 4pm yesterday, it was time for the clear up to get underway, especially in the south of Majorca.

Palma.—Worst hit yesterday morning was the north and north east of Majorca while Minorca took one last minute battering before the storm finally moved out of the region and east across the Mediterranean.
Force 8 winds peaking at 80 kilometres per hour were recorded in various parts of Majorca early yesterday, but as the morning turned into afternoon, the gale force winds died down.
