Balearic Christmas shopping to be slashed by 13 percent per person

Palma.—The market research comes just 24 hours after the  Balearic commercial association, Afedeco, questioned reports that the small to medium sized retail sector has enjoyed an upturn in trade this year and yesterday’s data from the FUCInational consumer union appears to back up the claims that consumer confidence  is still very brittle and that high street spending has not increased this year.
