Travel agents in the UK claim to be in a confident mood with regards to next year with holidays on land and at sea already selling well.
Palma.—The positive feeling in the market has been discovered by the latest Carnival Cruise Lines Travel Agent Mood Index.
The survey revealed that 84 percent of travel agents are positive about the health of the industry, up two percentage points from the previous year.
The optimism comes from a strong Summer, with 76 percent of agents hitting their targets in the second and third quarters of this year, while 79 percent are predicting they will hit their targets for the final quarter of 2013.
A further 61% percent said the outlook for holiday bookings next year is strong based on the number of forward bookings taken.
