Palma Judge Jose Castro, who this week summoned Princess Cristina  as a suspect over tax and money-laundering crimes said yesterday that he expects to see the King’s youngest daughter in court on Saturday, 8 March.

Palma.—Yesterday morning, the Princess’s defence team in Palma held a meeting with Castro, apparently to discuss ways in which the Princess’s embarrassing  appearance in court could be avoided, but it appears that Castro, who issued the summons last Tuesday, is sticking to his guns.
What is more, the Princess’s defense team is still undecided over whether to appeal against this second summons with the deadline being Monday at 3pm.
