18 September is  D-Day for Scottish independence, or not, but Scottish expats have been excluded from being able to vote, much to their anger.

Palma.—Scottish-born Kate Mentink, who is the Director of the Balearic Government’s European Centre and has lived and been involved in politics here in Majorca and Europe for many years, warned yesterday that if Scots vote in favour of independence later this year “over a million Scots, in particular expats living here inSpain face the threat of being abandoned and left out in the cold.”
While a campaign is being launched by Scottish expats who want the right to vote in the referendum, Mentink explained that when it comes to going to the polls, voters must leave their sentiments behind.
