Palma City Council’s decision to allow cafes along the Borne to have terraces on the boulevard running up the middle of the street has proved a huge success.

Palma.—The small business association, PIMECO, said yesterday that retailers on the Borne are extremely pleased with the council’s initiative and have called on City Hall to unveil the project across the capital in order to help revive trade in certain areas.
According to PIMECO, the Borne has been transformed into the very heart of the capital now with all of the bars and restaurants with terraces along the boulevard reporting brisk and encouraging trade.
