A full investigation has been opened to resolve exactly what sparked a pitched battle on the Paseo Maritimo in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Palma.—Shortly after 1.30am, the national Police began receiving a string of calls reporting a violent fight just off the Paseo Maritimo in avenida Gabriel Roca.
When members of the National Police reached the scene, they came across one young man unconscious on the ground with his two friends, clearly injured, by his side and two others who tried to flee the scene.
However, the police have been given two conflicting versions of events and are now trying to establish exactly what happened.
