Just weeks after a Hindu gang was dismantled for providing illegal work contracts and resident visas, a Moroccan network has been smashed.

Palma.—The National Police reported yesterday that 40 Moroccans have been arrested, including the leader of the organisation, in connection with providing false employment contracts.
Operation Halal was mounted earlier this year and the National Police, working in cooperation with the immigration and social security departments, tracked down at least 88 Moroccans who had allegedly been employed by a butchers/call centre in Manacor.
