Palma.—Minorca is going to be hosting one of its largest ever military exercises next month and preparations are already under way.
Operation Trident Jaguar 14 is taking place between 2 May and 16 May and will involve 1,400 troops from over 23 countries.
Yesterday, a second military transport ship, the Martin Posadillo, arrived in the Port of Mahon, continuing the deployment of military equipment for exercise Trident Jaguar 14, the headquarters for which will be at the San Isidro de Minorca Base.
This is the second military transport ship to have docked in Mahon and this time the ship, which set sail from Valencia two days ago, was carrying the communication equipment needed in order to control the military operation which will involve NATOarmies, air forces and navies.
