Seven injured in Palma pile up

Palma.—Seven people were injured in the accident which led to one lane of the Lluchmajor motorway being closed and caused traffic jams which ran for miles as thousands  of people were trying to get into Palma.
The accident happened at the Can Blau exit in front  of Ikea.
The first vehicle involved was a 4x4, then a people carrier, a van, a Ford C Max and finally an Alsa coach.
The multiple crashes were very powerful and all of the vehicles involved in the accident, apart from the bus, were written off.
The accident forced scores  of other drivers to brake hard and swerve to avoid being caught up in the pile up.
