Concern is growing amongst the tour operators and the local community about the security situation in Magalluf this year with muggers targeting young tourists yet again.

Palma.—Yesterday, a member of senior management for one of the UK’s largest tour operators here in Majorca contacted the Bulletin to tell her story and give her opinion  on  what is going on in Magalluf.
The person, who requested that she remained anonymous, was brought up on the island and returned some 12 years ago because she considered Majorca a safe place for her children to grow up, but she certainly will not let any of them go near Magalluf.
Not after what she has seen this season already.
“Idon’t often go to Magalluf, only for work meetings and the other week, as we emerged from a works dinner  at around 4am, we came across a group of six to eight prostitutes in full swing near the Trinidad Hotel.
