Palma.—Sa Pobla Council and the local trade association announced new plans yesterday to revive the popular and famous local Sunday market.
The market used to attract vast numbers of tourists to the area but that has changed over the last few years. The local council explained they have been in touch with tour operators to set up guided tours to the local markets every Sunday during the summer of 2015.
The council’s idea is to make the most of the number of tourists visiting near by areas of Puerto Alcudia and Pollensa, and encourage them to head to sa Pobla to visit the market.
