The Guardia Civil revealed yesterday that Britain’s National Crime Agency (NCA) was involved in Thursday’s narcotics operation in Magalluf.
Palma.—With the operation now closed, the Guardia Civil confirmed yesterday that nine British citizens, all from the Manchester area and many with alleged criminal records in the United Kingdom, were arrested in the eight dawn raids in Calvia.
Operation NARVAL, was carried out jointly betweenthe Guardia Civil, including an elite unit from Madrid, and Britain’s National Crime Agency (NCA), and resulted in the arrests of six British men and three women all alleged to be members of a criminal organisation.

Two of those arrested were said to have worked in the Magalluf leisure industry by the Guardia Civil.
More than 60 officers raided the eight properties and allegedly seized cocaine, crystal meth and ecstasy, all prepared for distribution.
And, despite all of the suspects living well away from Magalluf, their properties near calle Punta Ballena were allegedly maintained exclusively for the storage and distribution of drugs.
Over 24,000 euros in cash and equipment for weighing drugs were also confiscated in the raids.
