El Corte Inglés clients have enabled the department store to donate ten and a half tons of food items to the Balearic Food Bank.
Every year, in the run up to Christmas, the department stores in Jaime III and the Avenidas, along with its Supercor and Opencor outlets in Palma, mount a campaign to encourage shoppers to make some form of donation to the food bank.
What is more, El Corte Inglés will be making its own donation of just over one ton of food items to the Balearic Food Bank. All of the items were collected from the general public on 28 and 29 November.
