The Palma Councillors for Health, Consumer Affairs and Transport yesterday launched a campaign aimed at increasing people’s awareness to the potential complications of giving away pets as presents for Christmas or Three Kings.
The objective is similar to that of the “a pet is for life, not just for Christmas” campaign launched in the UK. The campaign has been launched in association with the Balearic animal protection body Baldea.
